Question: Compare ways in which the concepts of "God," "Person," "Environment," "Health," and "Nursing" would be defined? Answer: According to Colossian 1 of bible, God is referred to as the householder or master of a family. God itself will give the power to dispense the Gospel committed to members of the family. The realization of self-portrait provides the definition of person, as a creation by God. A Person tends to act in harmony, with a way of living, attitude towards others and experience in life. In case the self-portrait of person is right in conjunction to self-perception, people things they are good to others as well. On the other hand, it is also reflective of social life, job performance and relationship with others. Note that environment is defined with these mentioned reflective measures (O'Brien, 2013). Health is defined as the requirements for the accomplishment of life in positive direction. In other words, it represents power and authorities with respect to earth and heaven. The term person represents a member of one body that is created by God. The contribution of each person that offers comfort and pray to enrich the will and self-esteem of individual member defines health. Nurses are members that pray for the encouragement of faith and walk in the path set by God. The will of spiritual wisdom and understanding is the functional attribute that is expected by a nurse (O'Brien, 2013). Health is the goal of nursing and is driven by individual meta-paradigm of the environment. It would be genuine to state that nursing is the actual work to do, and the person is the focus of the paradigm (Piper, 1990).
